Introducing Sakshi Sindwani & Raghav Arora
Divine Sukhmani Sahib Paath
Starting the wedding festivities of #dherSARApyaar, Sakshi and Raghav took the blessings of the almighty and had a beautiful intimate Sukhmani Sahib Paath function at their home that was donned by fresh mogras and peach roses. For the Paath, Sakshi adorned an incredibly blue serene lehenga from Mohey Fashion which she paired further with a braided low bun and pastel baubles by Khurana Jewellery House. On the other hand, Raghav wore an off-white bandhgala which looked perfect for the event.
Dhamakedar Dhol Night
After the divine Sukhmani Sahib Paath, Sakshi and Raghav had a crazy Dhol night. The twosome looked like Patakas in custom Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika and gosh we are still admiring Sakshi’s embellished burnt orange sharara set. What caught our eye was the ‘Always and Forever Shiku’ golden embroidered detail on Raghu’s collar that went perfectly with this ombre ivory to purple kurta set. Sakshi revealed, “I also wore my mom’s Kangan that fit very very well with the whole look and also gave me something personal and precious to wear!”
Fun Cricket Match Between Bride vs Groom
Having a destination wedding at Deviratn Jaipur, the to-be bride and groom had a fun cricket match as soon as they reached their wedding venue. Check out the pictures by ShutterDown straight from the epic cricket match between bride and groom families. Oh! And don’t forget to check out the doggos because the real winners of the match were Ollie and Simba. 🐶🏏
Elegant Rehearsal Dinner
Before starting their pre-wedding ceremonies, Raghav and Sakshi had an elegant Rehearsal Dinner Party. Looking like a princess, Sakshi wore a pretty Gauri & Nainika ivory mikado bridal gown that had a hint of a daring red bustier and a chic black grosgrain ribbon at the waist. From custom-made printables on cocktail tables to their signature drinks and Raghav looking dapper in his black tuxedo. This Rehearsal Dinner was a gala night of the wedding.
Pretty Pink Mehendi at Home
And, here comes the nuptial ceremonies of the wedding season. Pyaar Ka Pind, a pink mehendi at home was the most surreal ceremony of Sakshi’s wedding. “I always wanted to have my mehendi done at our home where all of us would just sit, sing dance and apply mehendi together,” said Sakshi. With cute little doggos made on her bridal mehendi by Sonamistry Mehandi, Sakshi adorned her hands with her Pakistani-inspired intricate mehendi which took nothing less than eight hours.
Coming to what the duo wore, Sakshi donned a pretty pink suit with golden prints by Heena Kochhar that was beautifully paired with Shriparamani Jewels. On the other hand, Raghav wore a yellow and white kurta-pajyma. With bold eyes and flushed cheeks, Sakshi looked like the prettiest bride ever.
Crazy Sangeet Night
For the glitz and glam Sangeet night, the duo went coordinated in Falguni Shane Peacock outfits. Embracing the rhythm of the dancefloor, she adorned herself in a resplendent metallic lehenga, complemented by a captivating feather-adorned cape that trailed behind her with an air of theatricality.
With meticulous attention to detail, she styled her hair into a sleek ponytail, ensuring that her statement diamond and emerald layered necklace by Amaris by Prerna Rajpal remained the focal point of admiration, accentuated by a minimalist maang tikka adorning her forehead. Where Sakshi, look like a true diva, our groom, Ragav matched with his bride in a peach embellished bandhgala that went perfectly for the gala night.
Fun-filled Haldi Ceremony
One of our favourite looks from this destination wedding was the Haldi ceremony. Several months prior, Sakshi ventured to the esteemed stylist Anaitashroffadajania, expressing her fervent desire to revolutionize the realm of Haldi fashion. Oh, how resplendently she has altered the very essence of Haldi celebrations! Be it adorning oneself in bespoke Tarun Tahiliani couture, intricately weaving fabrics into one’s tresses, or bedecking with jewels of unparalleled uniqueness yet impeccably suited for the Haldi affair!
Ah, do not overlook the spectacle of Sakshi’s surprise dance, meticulously choreographed by YSDC Wedding Choreography, unfolding for Raghav’s delight. His adorable reaction is an absolute must-see moment!
Emotional Chooda Ceremony
Following the grand celebration, the next enchanting event on the matrimonial itinerary was the intimate Chooda ceremony, adorned with the resplendent presence of fresh crimson red roses. Our Punjabi bride, enveloped in the tender embrace of tradition, elegantly adorned herself with opulent golden mirror-work juttis by Elements by Radhika Gupta, perfectly complemented by the exquisite allure of Abhinav Mishra’s golden fringe mirror-work suit, evoking an aura of timeless sophistication.
